posting out and delivery

Thank you to all of our lovely customers who place orders with Gambardeli.  You are the reason that we’re here.  So I thought that I’d give you some information on our posting out and delivery arrangements.  This information is on the T&Cs.

I have a 7 day turn around.  So I send out your order within 7 days of receiving it.  I do that so that I make sure that I have the stock to complete your order. I keep only a small stock of our products to ensure that you have the best shelf life.   Otherwise I will contact you if this changes for some reason.

I usually send out on a Tuesday or Wednesday as I find that’s the most successful days.  You should receive a notification when I’ve posted it out.  So you know to expect it within the next day or 2 following the notification. Delivery at the weekend or next day delivery can be arranged however it may incur further postal charges.

Your order is posted out in insulated packaging so you should receive it in good condition.  You must keep your purchases in the fridge as soon as you receive it.  You can extend the best before date by a minimum of 3 months by freezing it before the best before date.

At the moment I use the Post Office as that seems to be the most reliable carrier.
